Prophet and hypocrites Ibn Ubayy. True Shariah on enemies of Islam. PART I

INTRO -
There were many hypocrites in history of Islam, today if a person says that prophet was a rag lowly and he is greater than prophet or levels a charge of adultery against any wife of prophet then we know how that person will be judged by our false scholars today.

We muslims keep singing day in and day out SUNNAH SUNNAH SUNNAH but it is so sad that the very scholars who sing it do not follow the way of the prophet, even those who claim to be salafis overlook what the name salafi stands for, and similar is the case of every sect.

I hope this article {which I divide in two parts} will help them in seeing their hypocrisy and Allah will guide them to end their hypocrisy Aameen.

BACKGROUND
Hypocrite refers to a person who is a Muslim and reads the kalma, but does not follow the Quran and Sunnah, and not following is not the point {not following makes one a simple sinner and not hypocrite}, the point is he works against the spirit of Quran and sunnah i.e. Islam.

This article is about hypocrites and the way they are to be treated according to sunnah i.e. true shariah. To show that I have focused on the biggest enemy of Islam Abdullah Ibn Ubayy who by many standards worked against Islam more than Abu Jahl, Abu Jahl might have been named in Quran once, but it is the statements of Abdullah Ibn Ubayy against Islam that Allah included in Quran many more times. By seeing how he was treated, against whom Allah himself was witness in Quran {whose witness is greater than that of Allah?} we can judge that how smaller hypocrites should be judged.

May Allah give us the eyes of prophet to understand his shariah Aameen.

IBN UBAYY
Abdullah Ibn Ubayy was the leading man in Yathrib and was favored by many to be the next King, but he was of Khazraj tribe and people of Aws tribe were doubtful of accepting him.

He found that coming of the prophet had robbed him of the chief temporal power in Yathrib {medina} and what added to his frustration was seeing his own son Abdullah and daughter Jamilah had converted to Islam. So he decided to wait thinking that sooner or later the newcomers influence will decline, but it didn t happen infact prophets influence only grew.

Thus started Ibn Ubayy s efforts against Islam in an Islamic state governed by prophet, the khalifa of Allah bringing the true shariah into practice. Below are his major conspiracies and efforts to dishonor prophet and bring down the Islamic state.

1 once prophet was going and crossed Ibn Ubayy s house, innocent of what was in Ibn Ubayy s heart {Ibn Ubayy was yet a non muslim so doesn t qualify for hypocrite but I yet narrate this}. Over there he saw him sitting with some men, out of courtesy {people of medina were helping prophet} prophet dismounted from his donkey and went and sat with them for a while and as conversation developed he narrated some part of Quran to them {imagine yourself going somewhere and reciting Quran or some scholar you know doing so} Ibn Ubayy suddenly burst out rudely at prophet nothing could be better than your discourse only if it was true, so sit at your home and preach it to those who come to you, but he who doesn t come to you burden him not with your talk, nor enter his gathering with that {i.e. Quran}which he likes not!

Prophet was humiliated and taken aback by the dishonor {what would had you done O false callers to sunnah?} prophet got up and left, he the khalifa of Allah didn t pass any order against him nor did he complain to anyone ever about it, it was never heard from his mouth.

2 Prophet s influence kept growing despite Ibn Ubayy s continuous efforts to check it, prophet never took to punishing him, soon infact his efforts started becoming counter productive for himself as his influence started to dwindle, he realized that to maintain his influence on people he has to enter Islam as others had entered it.

Though he pledged allegiance to prophet and read salat regularly at the mosque but believers {sahabas} were never sure of his faith and it was an issue of concern as he had far reaching influence which made him all the more dangerous, and dangerous he became as we will see.

3 Ibn Ubayy had a treaty with Bani Qaynuqa who were spying for Meccans, they once threatened prophet O Muhammad! do not be deluded by that encounter {with Meccans at badr} for it was against men who had no knowledge of war & so you did win, but by God if we make war on you then you shall know we are men to be feared. After this threat they even killed a muslim and went to prepare for war and sent messengers to call their allies for war to terminate Islam, but before their allies could come or they could fully prepare themselves they found their fort besieged by the muslims and finally they had to surrender unconditionally.

Many ansar had a treaty with bani Qaynuqa but a revelation had come from Allah in Quran if you fear treachery then throw back their treaty at them and those who had a treaty with them after this revelation annulled their treaty with them as it was command of Allah, but not Ibn Ubayy.

Ibn Ubayy went to Ubadah ibn Samit to help Qaynuqa but he refused as Muslims who had a treaty with them had broken their treaty citing the command of Allah in Quran, but look at this hypocrite being unable to do nothing he openly went out to help Qaynuqa {against muslims, Islamic state, prophet, Quran & Allah}. He didn t participate in the siege and muslim army but went to muslim army s camp and openly announced that he has a treaty with them!! In a commanding voice he said to the prophet O Muhammad! Treat my confederates well {he called enemies of Islam his confederates!! What would you do to such a man O followers of Sunnah and upholders of shariah??}. Prophet turned away from him, SO HE CAUGHT THE PROPHET BY HIS COAT OF MAIL THRUSTING HIS HAND INTO THE NECK OF IT!! Prophet visibly got angry {how can a muslim not get angry at such a man??} and said LET GO OFF YOUR HOLD , he said NO! . No to prophet in front of everyone and that too when prophet was angry!!! NO BY GOD I SHALL NOT UNTILL YOU PROMISE TO TREAT THEM WELL!!! Now do you think the prophet got scared that O he is holding me and wont leave me?? Obviously no. what do you think the prophet and companions did?? Execute him, crucify him, cut off his hands and feet from opposite sides as he was an open enemy of Islam and was seeking help to those who were enemies of Islamic state, a hypocrite to core?? The prophet didn t even curse him leave alone punish him and on top of it said I GRANT YOU THEIR LIVES!!! .HOW ILL DO WE JUDGE THE SHARIAT OF LAST PROPHET THE MERCY TO MANKIND TRUE MY LORD TRUE, HE WAS A MERCY TO MANKIND.

4 At battle of Uhud the muslim army was 1000 strong, while it was camped to go to war the next day against an army 3,000 strong. At dawn the Prophet i.e. the head of Islamic state and commander of faithful ordered the army to move. However Ibn Ubayy in consultation with other hypocrites turned back to medina but not alone ..with 300 men!!! An open outright rebellion and disobeying of direct order of Islam {what is Islam but Allah and his prophet}He did not even talk to the prophet about it and when a sahaba tried to stop him {as it was a major concern as muslims were already way too less as compared to Meccan army and everyone was worried} He said HE {PROPHET} HAS DISOBEYED ME AND OBEYED THE STRIPLINGS AND MEN OF NO JUDGEMENT, I SEE NOT WHY WE SHOULD LOOSE OUR LIVES {he had suggested a strategy which on mutual consultation was not accepted by prophet}. Another sahaba cried out I ADJURE YOU BY ALLAH NOT TO DESERT YOUR PEOPLE AND YOUR PROPHET IN THE VERY PRESENCE OF ENEMY!! {his action was also aimed at demoralizing the muslim army and shake their faith, and he did that to 300 muslims!!} He said IF WE KNEW YOU WOULD BE FIGHTING WE WOULD STAY BUT WE DO NOT THINK THERE WOULD BE A BATTLE!! how demoralizing was his parting remark for the army.

Battle of Uhud was not a massacre as Ibn Ubayy wished and said it would be, only because some companions disobeyed prophet s command during war that the result became a loss for muslims, it was a great loss as everyone was wounded except a few, many were severely injured while many died including prophets Uncle hadhrat Hamza {whose body was badly mutiliated}, hadhrat Hanzalah {relative of prophet} and many senior sahabas who were with Islam from the very beginning. Prophet remarked never was I more angry referring to seeing hadhrat Hamza s body. Prophet himself was also badly injured in his right shoulder and was not being able to move it.

The talks were going on that had those 300 men not left then what would had been the result? The muslim army returned with injured men being carried and muslims including prophet in grief for the dead ..they found Ibn Ubayy rejoicing!!! He said mockingly that he had taken a wise decision {i.e. you were fools}, he also said By God!! It was as if I had seen it all, if those killed had returned with us they wouldn t had been killed!! by saying so he was mocking not only the faith of those who survived but also mocking the faith of those who were dead the faith of likes of Hadhrat Hamza and Hanzalah.

The sahabas felt very humiliated at his mocking {who wouldn t had felt??} and Hadhrat Umar the to be second khalifa judged that Ibn Ubayy along with those other responsible {i.e. the 300 who deserted} should be killed and went to prophet to tell him he wanted to do so {it was not your or my or some scholars fatwa it was Hadhrat Umar s fatwa!! What do you say should hadhrat Umar s fatwa be implemented in this case??} Well, the prophet rejected the idea and forbade him to do so!!!! {hadhrat Umar would had instantly accepted prophet s fatwa over his, but do we accept it like hadhrat Umar would had accepted?? No, the hypocrites of today will find it tough to swallow it, hah and they sing the song of Sunnah} Woe to us for what we ascribe to shariah of last prophet. Woe to us that we don t have the prophet to give us a sermon on his shariah when we are surrounded by false scholars who sing Sunnah, Sunnah, Sunnah, but only implement the sunnah of Azar and Pharoah and not the prophet.

5 Ibn Ubayy on the coming Friday went to the mosque as usual, the point to be noted is that none of the sahabas stopped him, hit him or asked him to never show his face around the mosque or kill him!! Nor did anyone ask him not to sit at the place of honor he used to take every time right next to the prophet!! In the past when ever prophet used to rise to the pulpit to deliver the sermon, he used to get up quickly and before prophet could start speaking, used to say in his hypocrisy sarcastically O People this is the messenger of Allah, may Allah through him be bountiful to you & give you strength, help you him therefore & honor him & obey him. ..but when he stood up this time two men next to him couldn t control and caught him {caught him to kill him you think??} caught him and being polite while still full of anger said SIT DOWN O YOU ENEMY OF ALLAH YOU ARE NOT WORTHY TO HOLD FORTH HAVING DONE WHAT YOU DID even they just asked him to sit down in the mosque while knowing and calling him enemy of Allah !!! they didn t ask him to leave or hit him or kill the enemy of prophet and Allah!!! Blessed be they for they followed the true shariah unlike our false scholars of today, unlike the muslims of today. We would do the opposite of that and not even once feel embarrassed for doing so. Infact the hate mongerers and blood thirsty people are considered by many to be pious today!!

Ibn Ubayy instead as another act of defiance jostled his way through the densely seated muslims in the mosque, when he was pushing his way through one of the ansar who was standing at the gate said RETURN AND LET THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH ASK FORGIVENESS FOR YOU!! ...where is such a muslim today?? O Allah why have you taken up men of knowledge and left us in the lurch of such worse than wolves scholars and foolish men who have misguided the whole Ummah, who say follow the prophet and sahabas but paint them in the dirt of their heart and present them to us ..O Allah end it soon and may your religion blossom again. May the shariah of pharaoh end soon and your shariah come about soon, truly by Quran you guide many and you misguide many.
Ibn Ubayy replied By God I do not want him to ask forgiveness for me ..this is the ideal Islamic state!!!! The hypocrites of today say it was ideal Islamic state but fain not follow the ideal but only their wishful thinking. The ideals we know are wishful thinking of power hungry scholars, who say lets fight the system of pharaoh but ignore that prophet Moses sought forgiveness for killing a man of pharaoh!

This is Islam O muslims but you know not and fulfill the statement of Allah when they will be asked, believe as others have believed, they will say shall we believe as fools believe? No but they are the fools though they do not realize it! sura baqrah. If I ask the scholar of today to be like the ansar at the gate of the mosque with someone like Ibn Ubayy in our times, he shall surely say you are a fool and we shall never follow your foolishness!! and start off telling the punishments he should be given ..but nay the scholar is a fool, O muslims rather be like the Ansar for he was taught by the prophet in ideal Islamic state but not be what the false scholars of today ask you to become, for they preach the shariah of pharaoh, false scholars who were taught by other false scholars before them ..only if you seek to achieve salvation. To understand the spirit behind such actions of prophet and sahabas do go through article God s cause , as the Islamic state and an Islamic heart is only guided by God s cause .
