What are the scientific benefits of Salah
1. Timings of Salah
Salah timings are based on the movement of earth and moon. Subah Salah when you start seeing sun rays but not the sun, Zuhur when shadow of a stick is invisible or when sun is straight above the head, Asar when shadow becomes double the size of a stick, Magrib when sun disappeared but not the sun rays and Isha after complete disappearance sun rays.
This movement of sun and human biology is very much connected. Having the prayer which is also an exercise with every major movement, keeps the body energetic. Hence, Prophet Muhammad PBUH urged Muslims to pray at the very beginning time (avval vaqth) of every Salah and not to delay it without reason.
2. Ablution or Ritual Purification
Washing all the body parts which we get engaged more with is an effective way to keep away from gems. Nose cleansing during ablution protects from dusts and allergies. Gargling with plain water reduces the chances of common cold to a greater extent thereby contribute to health and hygiene. Gargling also reduces viral respiratory infections. Gargling ensures reduction in bad breath too. Face washing reduces the impact of oily skin and retarded the growth of acne, pimples, wrinkles, and other facial spots. Cleaning ears 5 times a day too a protection of ears from gems and allergies. Finally cleaning feet helps to be protected from dirt and fungus.
This also a sort of Reflexology - Wikipedia which helps in nerve functioning, relaxation, energy boosting and reduction of headache.
3. Rukooh or Bowing Forward
Bowing forward with holding your knee calms the brain and helps relieve stress and mild depression. Stimulates the liver and kidneys. Stretches the hamstrings, calves, and hips. Strengthens the thighs and knees. This also improves digestion. Helps to protect from low productivity after young age especially for women. This reduces fatigue and anxiety, relieves headache and insomnia.
This is an important position wherein human brain and heart at same level after standing for a while where brain was above the heart.
4. Sajda or Prostration
Prostration is such a position is Salah that Islam has not given such importance to anything else in Salah, so is the medical benefits of Salah.
a. When you rest your forehead on the floor and hands stretched and placed in both sides. This brings the rely on muscles of your forearm because all your weight will be on forearms.
b. Another body part upon which weight is being put on is your head. A perfection prostration when you feel you are resting all your weight in your forehead which was initially rested in forearms. This helps in making your neck muscle stronger.
c. Initially when you are standing, your heart was below your brain, then with bowing down you made it level and now your brain is below the heart which pumps blood to brain with extra force. This force will be higher because normally heart need to pump blood against gravitation and now its easy when brain is down the heart.
This increased blood circulation protects from Brain ischemia - Wikipedia. And according to medical doctors there is no cure for this stroke and it will result in stopping functioning of part of brain which is increasing off late.

d. This also helps women to protect Retroverted uterus - Wikipedia. Even though it is not a problematic decease, ignoring it many gets to challenging state being. While getting up from prostration, the perenial muscles are again actively mobilised and this gives strengthens the muscles associated with the male reproductive system.
5. Sitting for Tashahhud
This sitting positions at the end of Salah is also medically helpful in different ways.
⦁ Stretches the hips, thighs, knees, ankles and feet
⦁ Improves circulation and relieves tired legs
⦁ Strengthens foot arches, relieving flat feet
⦁ Improves digestion and relieves gas
⦁ Helps to protect from low productivity after young age especially for women.
⦁ Reduces swelling of the legs during pregnancy
⦁ This is therapeutic for asthma and high blood pressure
Finally, I realised that a perfect Salah followed by perfect ablution can make my life.
