The Big Bang: One of the Proofs of Creation
The Big Bang: One of the Proofs of Creation
It is quite hard to upset the equilibrium between the elements that are essential to life on Earth. You do not suddenly start breathing carbon monoxide or floating away from your chair into space due to a decrease in the force of gravity. Sunlight does not suddenly damage your eyes and skin, and oxygen levels do not rise so high that your lungs begin to burn. There are many reasons for this. However, the interesting thing is that all balances assumed their present forms due to the Big Bang, defined as the explosion of a single point of zero volume that contained all matter in the universe.
Countless conditions combined in order to maintain this equilibrium. For example, if the rate of the universe’s post-Big Bang expansion had been just 1 in 1 billion (1/1018) different, the universe would not have emerged. If the universe had expanded just slightly more slowly, it would have imploded due to the gravitational force; if it had expanded a little more quickly, all cosmic matter would have dispersed and vanished. If a 1/1018 difference in the explosion’s speed had arisen just when that speed had reached a particular level, the equilibrium in question would have been destroyed. If just one of these minute variations had arisen, the universe would have disappeared.
Let’s take a look around us. Everything is in an extraordinary state of stasis, calm, and perfection, because nothing in the universe is coincidental. In fact, everything depends on a flawless and perfect level and the extraordinarily delicate balances created and set into motion by Almighty Allah, Who rules everything, created a flawless artistry and miracle via a single explosion, and is all-giving:
… He Who created the seven heavens in layers. You will not find any flaw in the creation of the All-Merciful. Look again – do you see any gaps? Then look again and again. Your sight will return to you, dazzled and exhausted! (Surat al-Mulk, 3-4)

The glorious equilibrium in the Big Bang
The miracle of the Big Bang in the cosmos billions of years ago and the magnificent wonders of what came into existence as a result of it
All explosions cause damage to an already existing order, and their effects are always destructive.
There is only one explosion to which this does not apply:
The Big Bang
The Big Bang theory states that the universe came into being with a single, enormous explosion. Under normal circumstances, explosions fling matter outward and disorder it. Yet the Big Bang had a completely opposite effect. It caused pieces of matter to combine together and give rise to whole galaxies.
The matter that came into being with the Big Bang acquired an “extraordinary” form and regularity. In the wake of that explosion, planets, galaxies and stars all formed in a flawless manner.
The flawless order and equilibrium in the Big Bang, which has been proved with modern scientific findings, definitively prove that the universe was created by Allah, the Almighty.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed satan;
He [Allah] is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. (Surat al-An’am, 101)
One dimension of the stunningly delicate order in the Big Bang is its speed.
The speed of the expansion of the universe was determined with an extraordinary sensitivity, calculated and set into motion perfection:
- The speed of the expansion of the universe is so critical that if it had been less than one in one hundred million parts slower in the first second after the Big Bang, the universe would have imploded without ever reaching its present state.
- If the universe had expanded just a little faster after the Big Bang all existing matter would have been simply scattered around and disappeared.
- If the speed of the explosion had been just one part in 10-18 different, this would have been enough to destroy the entire equilibrium.
- If the density of the universe had been just slightly greater, then the universe could not have expanded at all, and would again have contracted back to a single point.
- If the density had been slightly less, then the universe would have expanded at top speed, in which case atomic particles would fail to attract and bind to one another, and the stars and galaxies would never have formed.
These sensitive balances, a flawless universe, the systems within that universe, the stars, the Earth and all the people, trees, animals, flowers and other living things on Earth could not have come about by the spontaneous combination of atoms in the wake of a random explosion. All the details we see, wherever we look, are evidence of the existence and power of Almighty Allah.
Science proves creation. Allah definitely exists. He is the sole Lord of the skies, the Earth and the wondrous equilibrium in the universe. Allah created the universe from nothing.
This conclusion reached by modern science was foretold in the Qur’an 1,400 years ago:
Your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then settled Himself firmly on the Throne. He covers the day with the night, each pursuing the other urgently; and the sun and moon and stars are subservient to His command. Both creation and command belong to Him. Blessed be Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. (Surat al-A’raf, 54)

The following article gives more detailed scientific data related to the Big Bang
Allah keeps the entire universe and the systems in it under his simultaneous control -
Almighty Allah created the universe from a single point with a huge explosion.
While all other explosions damage the existing order, the 300 billion galaxies in the universe emerged from zero volume, nothing in other words, with this explosion, known as the Big Bang.
The Milky Way we live in is just one of these 300 billion galaxies.
There are 250 billion stars in the Milky Way. The Sun is one of these 250 billion stars.
The number of stars, such as the Sun, in the visible universe is 1024, a stupendous number, more than a billion times a billion times a billion. Allah has created the Earth as a living space within the boundless universe. We live on a world that occupies almost no place at all within infinity. In fact, not just our Earth but even our galaxy occupies a tiny place in the universe. So just imagine how small a place you yourself occupy in this utterly vast universe.
Every single atom in each of these 1024 stars is under the control of Allah at every moment. Every movement, speed, speed of revolution, the temperatures and distances of and between every planet, every one of the 1024 stars and 300 billion galaxies are all determined in the Sight of Allah and are duly created at every moment. Allah maintains countless balances on Earth at every second, without our ever being aware of them.
