Definition of the forenoon: Forenoon is the part of the day between sunrise and noon (e.g., "morning"). The term should not be confused with "fore noon" (two separate words), which is a translation of the Latin word ante meridiem (a.m.), meaning a time between 12:00 midnight and 12:00 midday.
