1. أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَانُوا۟ هُمْ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةًۭ وَءَاثَارًۭا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقٍۢ.((40:21)

   Sahih International: Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those who were before them? They were greater than them in strength and in impression on the land, but Allah seized them for their sins. And they had not from Allah any protector. (40:21)

2. أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ. (89:6)

   Sahih International: Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with 'Aad - (89:6)

3. وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُوا۟ ٱلصَّخْرَ بِٱلْوَادِ (89:9)

   Sahih International: And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley? (89:9)

4. وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِى ٱلْأَوْتَادِ (89:10)

   Sahih International: And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes? - (89:10)

   (89:10)

5. ٱلَّذِينَ طَغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ (89:11)

   Sahih International: [All of] whom oppressed within the lands (89:11)

   (89:11)

6. فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ. (89:13)

   Sahih International: So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment. (89:13)

7. ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْآخِرِينَ. (77:17)

   Sahih International: Then We will follow them with the later ones. (77:17)

   (77:17)

8. كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ (77:18)

   Sahih International: Thus do We deal with the criminals. (77:18)

   (77:18)

9. وَأَنَّهُۥٓ أَهْلَكَ عَادًا ٱلْأُولَىٰ (53:50)

   Mohsin Khan: And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), (53:50)

10. وَثَمُودَا۟ فَمَآ أَبْقَ (53:51)

    Sahih International: And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - (53:51)

11. وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍۢ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْغَىٰ (53:52)

    Sahih International: And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. (53:52)
