DESCRIBING MANKIND STANDING BEFORE ALLAH: 1.Narrated Ibn `Umar: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏ ‏{‏يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ‏}‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ يَقُومُ أَحَدُهُمْ فِي رَشْحِهِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ أُذُنَيْهِ ‏"‏‏.‏ The Prophet (ﷺ) said (regarding the Verse), "A Day when all mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds,' (that day) they will stand, drowned in their sweat up to the middle of their ears."

3. 2.Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما أن رسول الله، صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال‏"‏ يقوم الناس لرب العالمين حتى يغيب أحدهم في رشحه إلى أنصاف أذنيه‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏ ‏.‏ I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying, "Mankind will stand before Allah, the Rubb of the worlds (on the Day of Resurrection), some of them will stand submerged in perspiration up to half of their ears".

The Approach Of The Hour: 1.Abdullah reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَهْدِيٍّ - حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلاَّ عَلَى شِرَارِ النَّاسِ ‏"‏ ‏. 9. 4.Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ بِإِصْبَعَيْهِ هَكَذَا بِالْوُسْطَى وَالَّتِي تَلِي الإِبْهَامَ ‏ "‏ بُعِثْتُ وَالسَّاعَةَ كَهَاتَيْنِ ‏"‏‏.
