سورة المرسلات

Ayat 1

By those [winds] sent forth in gusts [Al-Mursalaat: 1]

Ayat 2

And the winds that blow violently [Al-Mursalaat: 2]

Ayat 3

And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] [Al-Mursalaat: 3]

Ayat 4

And those [angels] who bring criterion1 [Al-Mursalaat: 4]

Ayat 5

And those [angels] who deliver a message. [Al-Mursalaat: 5]

Ayat 6

As justification or warning, [Al-Mursalaat: 6]

Ayat 7

Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. [Al-Mursalaat: 7]

Ayat 8

So when the stars are obliterated [Al-Mursalaat: 8]

Ayat 9

And when the heaven is opened [Al-Mursalaat: 9]

Ayat 10

And when the mountains are blown away [Al-Mursalaat: 10]

Ayat 11

And when the messengers' time has come...1 [Al-Mursalaat: 11]

Ayat 12

For what Day was it postponed?1 [Al-Mursalaat: 12]

Ayat 13

For the Day of Judgement. [Al-Mursalaat: 13]

Ayat 14

And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? [Al-Mursalaat: 14]

Ayat 15

Woe,1 that Day, to the deniers. [Al-Mursalaat: 15]

Ayat 16

Did We not destroy the former peoples? [Al-Mursalaat: 16]

Ayat 17

Then We will follow them with the later ones. [Al-Mursalaat: 17]

Ayat 18

Thus do We deal with the criminals. [Al-Mursalaat: 18]

Ayat 19

Woe, that Day, to the deniers. [Al-Mursalaat: 19]

Ayat 20

Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? [Al-Mursalaat: 20]

Ayat 21

And We placed it in a firm lodging [i.e., the womb] [Al-Mursalaat: 21]

Ayat 22

For a known extent. [Al-Mursalaat: 22]

Ayat 23

And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. [Al-Mursalaat: 23]

Ayat 24

Woe, that Day, to the deniers. [Al-Mursalaat: 24]

Ayat 25

Have We not made the earth a container [Al-Mursalaat: 25]

Ayat 26

Of the living and the dead? [Al-Mursalaat: 26]

Ayat 27

And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. [Al-Mursalaat: 27]

Ayat 28

Woe, that Day, to the deniers. [Al-Mursalaat: 28]

Ayat 29

[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. [Al-Mursalaat: 29]

Ayat 30

Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns. [Al-Mursalaat: 30]

Ayat 31

[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." [Al-Mursalaat: 31]

Ayat 32

Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, [Al-Mursalaat: 32]

Ayat 33

As if they were yellowish [black] camels. [Al-Mursalaat: 33]

Ayat 34

Woe, that Day, to the deniers. [Al-Mursalaat: 34]

Ayat 35

This is a Day they will not speak, [Al-Mursalaat: 35]

Ayat 36

Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. [Al-Mursalaat: 36]

Ayat 37

Woe, that Day, to the deniers. [Al-Mursalaat: 37]

Ayat 38

This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. [Al-Mursalaat: 38]

Ayat 39

So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. [Al-Mursalaat: 39]

Ayat 40

Woe, that Day, to the deniers. [Al-Mursalaat: 40]

Ayat 41

Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs [Al-Mursalaat: 41]

Ayat 42

And fruits from whatever they desire, [Al-Mursalaat: 42]

Ayat 43

[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do." [Al-Mursalaat: 43]

Ayat 44

Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. [Al-Mursalaat: 44]

Ayat 45

Woe, that Day, to the deniers. [Al-Mursalaat: 45]

Ayat 46

[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals. [Al-Mursalaat: 46]

Ayat 47

Woe, that Day, to the deniers. [Al-Mursalaat: 47]

Ayat 48

And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow. [Al-Mursalaat: 48]

Ayat 49

Woe, that Day, to the deniers. [Al-Mursalaat: 49]

Ayat 50

Then in what statement after it [i.e., the Qur’ān] will they believe? [Al-Mursalaat: 50]
