It was narrated that An-Nu'man bin Bashir (RA)said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High' and 'Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e. the day of resurrection)?' in the Jumu'ah prayer, and sometimes 'Eid and jumu'ah would fall on the same day, and he would recite them in both 'Eid and jumu'ah prayer."

Al-Nu'man b. Bashir رضي الله عنه said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite at the two 'Ids (festivals) and on Friday, "Glorify the name of your most high Lord." Nu'man b. It was narrated that Ubayy bin Ka'b رضي الله عنه said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite: "Glorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High;" in witr, in the second rak'ah he would recite: "Say: O you disbelievers!"; and in the third "Say: He is Allah, (the) One". The Recitation of Surah Al A’la during the two Eid What Has Been Related About recitation of surah Al a’la during the eid’ain Surah Al A’la is also recommended to be recited during the two eid that is eid ul Fitr and eid ul Azha. An-Numan bin Bashir رضي الله عنه narrated: "For the two Eid and the Friday prayer, the Prophet would recite: Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, and Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming? And sometimes they would occur on the same day, so he would recite the two of them.".

⦁ Reciting: "Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High" in Maghrib It was narrated that Jabir r.a said: "A man from among the Ansar passed Mu'adh leading two camels, when he (Mu'adh) was praying maghrib, and he was starting to recite Al-Baqarah. So that man prayed then went away. News of that reached the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: 'Do you want to cause hardship to the people, O Mu'adh; do you want to cause hardship to the people, O Mu'adh? Why don't you recite: 'Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High' and 'By the sun and its brightness' and the like?'"

⦁ Reciting: "Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High" in Isha' It was narrated that Jabir رضي الله عنه said: "Muadh stood up and prayed Isha', and made it lengthy. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Do you want to cause hardship to the people, O Mu'adh; do you want to cause hardship to the people O Mu'adh?
